No it was a multi-year drought in the southwestern states Texas Oklahoma New Mexico that liquidated a lot of the cowherd also a lot of small pastures throughout the Corn Belt we're torn up to plant to rowcrop. The South Dakota storm though significant for those involved was probably pretty small in the big picture. Ittook a long time and many years to create the circumstances that raised cattle prices to where they are today.
