Subject: RE: Holistein Calf Pneumonia

NW Ohio
In my opinion a single ragged out holstein feeder that gets run through the sale barn is a red flag for a potential buyer. I'm not saying to be unethical and say he's a healthy double vacc'd calf. There's all kind of guys that buy calves like that at a steep discount to take a chance on them. Let them take a chance if you don't want to. Better than digging a hole or going out to feed everyday and looking at that calf thinking man I sure hate that thing. Get rid of the poor doers and focus on getting the best gains out of the others. If your in NW Ohio there's probably 20 head just like yours that get ran through Loy's Sale Barn every monday night.
