Southeast Kansas
Had a heifer that got bred at around 90 days old last year. Pulled half the calf out, cut the other half out. Kept her after that an bred her last spring/summer, she calved tonight, I checked her at 6 and she wasnt in labor, came back at 8 and there were feet sticking out, left her alone for 20 mins or so, came back head an feet sticking out, come back 20 mins later and the entire calf is sucked back into her. I got her caught an pulled the calf, it was a very easy pull. She wasnt even trying to have it, she never laid down through out the entire ordeal. Keep her for another chance or put wheels under her? Or perhaps feed her for awhile and make hamburger out of her? What say ya'll.
