Candor NY | When I worked as a surveyor for a construction company and routinely worked state rate jobs making $40+ per hour. It was good honest work, I came home with blisters on my hand more than once. Now we milk 60 cows. It's good honest work, and I come home with blisters on my hands, and a lot less than $40+/hour. So was I worth 40+ an hour, or the $5 I may clear now? Someone above said that workers won't come for low wages offered by farmers, but what if that's all we can offer? What if $12/hour is more than the boss is making? | |
