N.E. MT | I can't speak for the chickens or hogs but most beef is raised with very little use of antibiotics. Also they don't mention facts like the fact that lots of calves are grown on grass for longer than they are fed corn. The media curves facts to emphasize what they want to but also leaves out facts to hide good things. We need to do better as producers/beef check off/NCBA/stock growers to express the facts that we want to be heard. Like how cattle are born and raised on grass and many are raised without implants, antibiotics are only used when needed, Ect. My thoughts | |
