That is the problem. Between taxes, Obamacare, and the rate of true inflation (remember, the published number doesn't include food or fuel) you can't hardly do it, even with free housing.

How many hours a week do you figure to make $35k? $12 an hour at 50 hours a week is only$31,200 a year, x 40 hours is only $24,000.

People complain they can't get competent help at these wages, well it is no surprise. You get what you pay for.
