"Here" it was definitely a milder winter. The thing that really concerns me is how dry the subsoil is...normally, we have a month of mud where hauling manure out to the fields is next to impossible...no problems at all and the frost seems to be out. I know that the experts say we are not in a drought, but I don't think those folks have looked at any graves which are being dug or post holes in my area. Go down a foot or 18 inches and it's dry. If the spigot gets turned off, it will get ugly fast...
