I was told 4 to 5. If the grease moves freely, then you certainly don't need to overgrease.
And if you left the zirk in, it likes to rotate itself out with all the centrifugal force. The zirk coming out doesn't causes the issues. It's the hole that's left where the plug was that causes problems. Last place in the world you want crap in. OK, maybe not THE worst, but you get the idea.
Could a fella get the hole clean then locktite the Alemite in and leave it in full time? |
