Subject: RE: Installing floor heat

Findlay, OH
i put heat in the floor of my building when i built it 4 years ago. i'd put insulation that is rated for sub grade applications down under the slap and about 2 ft down vertically around the slab. i tied my pex to pre made wire mats and set it up on 1 inch blocks so the tubing was fully surrounded by concrete. bought all my supplies from either pexuniverse.com or another online pex website, can't remember the name of it currently. found a nice set up from radiantec.com that i copied for my pump/heat supply set up. i am using a regular tank type currently. when i pour the rest of my building, i will be using an on demand heater for that portion.
