Scranton | I tried renting 400+ acres locally...offered $350 for three year, this would have been the third year. I didn't get it and I went to the big operator next town over...no hard feelings, but I would assume(and I could be wrong) that he was paying as much or more than I bid (heard 400). Year before that I was trying on a rough piece next county over, and it was around $300. Didn't get that either.
I'd be losing $75-100 acre on either this year...glad I didn't get them. I posted about the second piece on here back then and a few of you told me I might be happy I didn't get it a couple years down the road...you were right! | |
