God's Country (N.C. Ia)
Yes on the stuffers, although for the first week or two after arrival, I've found it really helps jumpstart everyone to feed in some bunks as well. Just makes the transition from having someone bring you all of your feed to finding your own a lot easier in my opinion. As far as roughage is concerned, I just bed them really well and they get most of it from that. These calves averaged 197, although I'm not really sure how old they are. Usually wean around 8 weeks, but sometimes it can be a bit longer based on pen space availability. I've been really lucky to have really good customers to deal with in all my years in the custom business. I treat their calves just like my own, so I would hope they would say the same about me. :)

Edit to add: You know I think it's true what they say about the camera adding 10 pounds! They sure look a bit meatier in these pics than in person. Still look great in person, though!
