it was generally accepted that grain prices didn't go up until the commercials owned most of it.
That's because buyers didn't have to work very hard at it. Easy being a grain buyer in the 80's.. all you needed was a phone. Golly how much over loan am I gonna have to pay today.. 1..2..3..5 cents?
