Just did our 8335R. Need to lift the hood. Remove 4 bolts holding the left green shield in place. 2 or 3 more bolts then to remove the black shield behind that, and then that shoukd give you clear access to the fan atea. Look for the spring near the front, and you should see the hex plug around that. It's pretty tight, so takes a bit of twist to get it out. Put zirk in. Grease it up. Put plug back in, don't leave the zirk in.

We have a 8225R as well that just hit 1500 so I'll be curious if that is as easy. Just gonna service it tomorrow and find out.



Maybe a dumb question but what happens if you leave the grease fitting in and not replace it with the plug?
