Subject: RE: An easier way

Haven't had problems with bulls breeding in heat i put one mature per 25-30 cows tho - I pretty well calve in April and May - guy here calves starting the end of May - he gets along good but that's to late for me - if I had a guarantee for graze off wheat every year I'd calve earlier but with the arid climate it's never guaranteed. Seems like other places east of here grass greens up earlier than we do - also a lot of guys pull calves and sell in fall and I usually background and run on wheat if moisture allows. The last 2 years the guys that pulled straight off the cows in October and November did better - it has had me second guessing but oh well, GROSS DOLLARS, got the wheat just as well add pounds
