Clay-All-Over - ...on this side of the border is that oil is starting to be regulated. The driver that picked up our used oil this fall says it is a violation of regs to transport it without proper equipment and documentation. Also. it is legal to burn waste oil generated on site, but not for someone else to bring their oil to you. However it is not being enforced by anyone because the net effect will be improper disposal of a lot of oil.Always before we have had our oil picked up by a local mechanic to heat his shop. We got full this summer and could not get him in motion to come get it so we called Safety-Kleen. They picked it up the same day ( we happened to call the day the truck was in the area ) at no cost, waved and went on down the road. |
