We have had ours for maybe 6 years. We use it on weekends. It is still on the first barrel.
We welded 2 3/8 pipes in it for more efficient heat transfer. We also added a second barrel with more pipes. It does a good job for us. I would buy another one if we had it do over.
It is not a stove to run 24 hours a day. It is best to start each morning after cleaning the ashes. It takes 10 minutes.
OK, waste oil heater time.
