Mine is a StorMor that is 40 years old this summer and not a bit of rust. If you dry during very cold temperatures, you'll get a layer of bees wings against the walls of the drying chamber. Clean that off at the end of the season and you shouldn't have any problems. I also try to make sure the drying chamber is empty by May.
