SE Iowa | Seed is just a word I used. My intent was that many bills come due this time of year, in particular rent and land payments. Quite a few of us have seed and other inputs already paid for. Correct me if I'm wrong but cash rents are due for many on March 1st and that figure is our largest single expense. I'm willing to bet many farmers sell inventory in Jan and Feb to meet Mar 1st obligations. | |
