Interdrain dealer told me they were setting up trenchers in old Mexico if I remember correctly. They tile to remove salt from soil. If I remember right he said there is a ditch every half mile. Alternating drainage ditch and irrigation ditch. I would guess this would be the same type of work in new mexico.
