Eastern Iowa | That $3000 activation can move to another Vehicle with a GS3 display in the future and is a much cleaner install than the Trimble. And that $3000 dollar activation doesn't depreciate in value, it's always worth the cost of purchase since it can be moved. Also, if upgrade that 9560RT to a 2014 or newer model it will have a Gen 4 display, which the autotrac activation is only $1000 but stays with the tractor. And if you want to move that Trimble system another JD vehicle, 2011 newer it will need a 3rd Party steering activation.
Besides, how long is Trimble going to be in the farmer market? I heard they have pulled all their Boths from Farm Shows except maybe the Louisville show. I hear CNH and Trimble are having issues, and CNH has thier own display, now a add on steering system from a different supplier, what's next?
At least you know that the Deere solution will work with Deere since Deere has and supports their own technology that they create and own. | |
