Why do a good number of women use thier maiden name in between thier first Name and thier married last name. When I posed this question to my wife, she had no reply. My thoughts are, either thier holding on to an identity of the past, thier doing something they think is trendy, they want to keep thier individualism or they have little respect for tradition and/or thier husband. What say you?
Pretty broad brush there sir. I use my maiden name between my given name and my married surname on FB because I'd like to have the option of connecting with people from high school and college who only knew me by my maiden name. Seems pretty simple and innocuous to me, but guess if you want to go down the disrespect path, you can. My husband doesn't. |
