Valid point but can't agree with last statement. Too many frivolous lawsuits by people that say it is always the fault of someone else, just to arrive at some sort of settlement. Different experiences here. No one forced farmers to buy any seed that they knew was not fully approved by signing the agreement. Now it is someone else to blame. Housing crisis another example. Agree to disagree. The lawsuit has had the effect of slowing sale of unapproved traits like new beans resistant to 2,4-D however.
Actually, much like Starlink, I thought this lawsuit was mostly for those who did not grow the trait. The thought is the market became depressed because this trait closed up markets, which depressed the price of corn.
It is not -for- those who sold the trait or grew the trait, but for everyone else?
If I read you right you are saying that is the fault of farmers who grew the trait, instead of the company that created and released the trait?
