Central IL | I've spent hours of my life teaching the correlation between yield maps and soil tests. Their beans made 18bu/ the acre the year before I took over, now both years the Lowes was 45, best 60. His corn on good ground made 208 and 212. Pour ground 140-170. I have made him more money in 2 years than he has made in the last 10. I just don't get the mindset. Every neighbor in 20 miles has stopped and commented on how good of job I've done cleaning up the mess and how much better there crops look. The money helps but idk if its worth it. | |
