Custom work is getting some money for dealing with some aggravation. Lot of times a person burns up their good equipment to make some money, and aren't really coming out with the extra depreciation they create on their iron in the long run.
If it pencils out for you you are paid for grunt labor and machinery, not to think..... How you have to look at it.
