Bad for savers and small banks I agree with but don't feel to bad for them they didn't feel bad for you in the 80's. I don't think it has forced negative investment though. Personally I think the last 15 years has been one of the greatest times to invest in a small business especially the farm. My brothers father and grandfather all think it has been one of the best times to be in expansion mode for themselves. Commodity prices going through the roof for a time and land prices ever climbing what's not to like?? And interest rates trailing lower which made it very easy to pay for past farms. Great investing opportunity's if you took them IMO.
