If you and your brother have other land to farm and don't need your dads land I would definitely leave things as they are. Sounds like that is all he has ad if you move him away from that a lot of guys just go down hill because they have nothing to live for. As long as your parents are healthy enough to live on the farm let them enjoy it and you may need to change your plans.
As far as hobbies or something else to do. That is a tough one. I'm not a hobby type of person either. I do some traveling which we really look forward to. That helps. When I can't do that I'm not sure what I will do to keep me going. I do know I plan to be active as long as I can. I'm letting my son work into the operation now and I will slide out of a lot of the management and work side of it but I plan to always be involved to some extent.
