Subject: RE: question for winter wheat growers

Renville Minnesota
I have 5 successful planted winter wheat crops under my belt.... And one failed take.

I believe for our area, April is the make it or break it time frame if you can get it seeded by mid September.

Our one failed crop, IMO, failed due to warmer temps the last week in March causing just a tad bit of green up, then first week of April I believe the low temps overnight was 10 degrees two nights straight. This smoked allot of it.

Sprayed round up and notilled soys into the wheat.

Still experimenting here.
