You will spend the 50 grand for tile and increase the amount you will have to pay for the farm in the future. In essence the possibility exists that you may have to pay for the tile twice. Once in installation cost and again when purchasing the farm in the form of much more desirable land (your tile greatly appreciated the land value) Sorry to be negative. No need for tile here, maybe I don't fully grasp the full amount of benefits it can provide.

The benefits here in Michigan are enormous. However, your points are valid.
