The higher your phosphate levels the higher your zinc needs to be .....6 ppm is minimum on a good soil test ....until your there it's your limiting factor if all your majors are in balance ...


I don't know if I'd go so far as to say that 6 ppm is a minimum, but I'd agree that 2 ppm is certainly not high. I'd think the OP could flat rate 10-15 lbs of zinc sulfate across his acres and come out money ahead.
