Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow | Normally they feed about 2 million tons of feed wheat. In 2012 they fed 10 million tons of wheat. That's 285 million bushel equivalents of corn more than normal. If they hadn't had wheat to feed the Sept 1 stocks would have looked like 500 million bushel. And remember the Sept 1 stocks have to get through to main harvest in Oct. If we're feeding & using 13.6 billion bushel per year that's roughly 1.1 billion per month so by rights a 1.5-1.7 billion bushel carryout isn't all that much. |
