Subject: RE: Hog Manure on wheat

NW Ohio
Did this a few years ago with a dragline in the spring at the 4000 gal rate of wean to finish manure and had just as good of wheat as the field across the road... 100bpa. Looked rough from the streaking which was from the tire tracks but sure smiled at harvest. Weather has to be just right. Look up Glen Arnold with Ohio State... he has done quite a bit of research on this topic. Now they are trying to dragline on emerged corn and are having decent success. Scares me... again, but never say never.
