I agree with that. Human nature tends to let our emotions cause us to make bad decisions under duress. If we flip flop around a lot, it opens us to the possibility of doing everything exactly wrong. At least it would seem that way for me. A few things in life I seem to be ok at. Guessing market directions in not one of them.
