Quincy, IL | This fall we finished construction of a new 100x200 building.
We originally wanted to go with steel construction. The deal breaker for us was the expense of the concrete and tie rods. Best price we got on steel was $275,000 including concrete, delivery and putting in lt up. The foundation had to be very extensive with a building that wide.
We went with a wood construction FBI building. It was $160,000 with every thing included. We also put concrete perma columns so that the wood is 6 inches above the floor level. So far we are very happy with it.
