| If the cost is close it comes down to which is more popular with the consumer (is plugging in easier than filling up?). It's been the innovator/early adopter class of folks buying the expensive electric and hybrid cars and those folks are always going to say it's the best (just like the guys who bought $35K light bars a long time ago). With production volume and battery technology improvements, the test will be if the general consumer thinks it's a good idea and buys it. | |
