Central Texas | How fast was tub turning? Sounds like tub not turning fast enough. Can u speed up tub. What happens when u put another bale on top of what is in there. How much wear on the screen? If edges of holes in screen get worn and rounded off can somewhat reduce capacity. If really worn on only one side can remove screen and rotate 180 degrees so sharp side of hole is facing the leading edge of hammers. With 3" screen really doubt screen wear is much of an issue.
Been over 30 years since had a H1000 and seems like could do 20+ ton/hr in dry hay. Had a guy that wanted me to grind some wheat hay that was cut in boot stage. Was cured 10 days with no rain before baling but smelled like silage. Tried a few bales and was like grinding wet rope. | |
