| There's no hard and true answer. Might be more willing to loan 30 k to someone with 10k in equity than 3 million to someone with 1 million in equity. Cash flow/collateral risk play into the equation too. A lot of hog finishers were built with very little equity. Feel free to email some numbers to me for a more frank discussion, or throw some numbers together and run it by a couple bankers. I sometimes throw a feeler out to my banker before doing the work of putting together all the numbers. Usually, I put everything together first, though. | |
