| I am with ya, markets/needs will find a way. The problem w/ producers isn't the hedging of the beans in another currency, its storing of the asset after the sale. Need a US $ denominated brokerage account. Attempting to store ones asset in SA currency denominated bank accounts is the killer. Not sophisticated enough to know if Cargill/ADM/Bunge are legally allowed to pay SA producers in dollars, Euro's, or other currency or a certain percentage into an offshore account. I know the US Gov't makes opening bank accounts in your country relatively difficult. | |
