i hope you never have the problem also but fact is some people farm in sandy soils with maybe 10 inches of rain and the irrigation water they use is loaded with sodium. not sure if they are really accomplishing anything with the water but its all they know. i know a farm in california that has magnesium in the water. is mag sat went from 18% to 65% in two years. he sent samples and wanted to grow alfalfa, I told him to keep watering the farm and sell bricks. sad thing is he called back another year later and asked"could i really make bricks this way" answer yes, go for it!!!
