I planted wheat with my Kinze this fall. Worked pretty good. I made my own backing plates, cost me about $9/plate. Place that originally makes them wanted over $20/plate. Looks like it did a decent job. I put down roughly 35#/ac. I was shooting a bu/ac, set the planter and thats what it ended up being. After digging, I thought it looked good enough for a cover, so left it.
Got the rate charts from www.seed-right.com They are the ones that originally made the backing plates.
