You claim there is no benefit...but that's strictly your opinion. How many items have been taken off the shelves over the years after science finally catches up. The benefit of organic is peace of mind if nothing else. If it doesn't give you peace of mind, then we have a plethora of food choices in the conventional market...I can hardly say our food source is the safest in the world, because so many countries are far healthier than Americans, and much of that comes down to diet. But we are blessed with ample food supplies and buying, producing or defending organic does not take away from that.
