Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow
I'm surprised that 14% of the gasoline is non-ethanol. Looks like Iowa corn farmers need to push back on the anti-ethanol crowd. Here even the premium has 10% ethanol. There are a few places that offer non-ethanol gasoline but when most people see the price they're asking they move over to the ethanol pump.
A couple of years ago a tractor oil salesman started stopping at my farm trying to peddle his high priced stuff. I'm standing next to my corn bins working and he starts in with his anti-ethanol crap. The first time I let it pass unremarked upon but not unnoticed. The second time I told him in no uncertain terms that I sold the most of my corn to the ethanol plant and if he felt that way he didn't need my business or my money and to get back out on the highway right then and don't bother to stop again.
He drives by, doesn't wave and gives me snake-eyes but he doesn't stop. Wonder why?
