I know the runner up very well, both bidders knew exactly what they were doing! If the runner up would have got it, it would have went in his collection with other IH tractors, and complete his 2+2 line-up. I believe it was less than 300 of that model built, and who knows how many left?? $30,000 doesn't sound too bad for how that tractor looked.
