Medium and large are the frame size. 1 and 2 refer to quality. These are a judgement call by the market reporter based off USDA quality grades.
Two pkgs, basically means two groups sold I think.
Lot thin, group of thin cattle not carrying any flesh.
Large lot means a big group, probably 20-40 head, but not big enough to be considered a pot load. Bigger groups bring more than singles, doubles, etc.
