I have found new places to look for info on the web on South America and yeah, sounds like things are just peachy down there. Last article said sprouting beans happening where the drought was earlier. Behind on soybean harvest. Drainage issues of ponding water. Drought starting where it was to wet earlier.
All around it sounds like farming in the USA.
All this and prices still can't garner enough steam to break out and go up.
To me a bullish sign in the market shows up if we can top $4.50 corn. The reason that number is because we could have contracted there last summer anything below that is bearish the market IMO. Bullish in my idea is new highs unluss you are trading the micro environment. Most farmers I know only trade when they sell, they trade crops for cash. | |
