Nebraska aka the boondocks
I don't know where you are but the answer you don't want to hear is that is the way things are moving. People are clearing trees putting up pivots etc on rented ground. Any geound that is sold or rented is labeled pivot ready if at all possible. I have been to sales where the auctioneer at stops to read a 10 minute family history to pull at your emotions. The only way I see that you have any leverage is if you ate the only person in the area doing what you are.
