Subject: Built on the basis-Maize

Ottawa Canada
Great article in the eastern edition of Country Guide. I am impressed by the size of the operation built in a relatively short time. The optimism shown by Peter and Donna is really quite something. I started in the mid 90's after college with big ideas but by the early 2000's things were pretty tough cash cropping and I cut rented acres and farmed only the land I bought. Working off farm (still do) kept things going but sometimes I kick myself for not pushing the envelope to grow my farm. I'm only 43 so I could take a run at it again but I find it hard to take risks now that I don't need to. Anyone feel like they missed out along the way? Good luck in 2016
