Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow | I built a histogram type chart showing the typical expected precipitation pattern for Mato Grosso vs this year so far. If you compare historic patterns of precipitation for Mato Grosso with what they experienced this year so far you see quite a divergence from normal. For the past two weeks they've experienced almost normal rainfall. The question becomes does the current pattern follow the normal or does it more abruptly decline due to the continued El Nino. By the way, despite some evidence of the begining of the end of El Nino, the latest El Nino report (Jan 14) indicates it's still going strong.
