20 Miles West of Indianapolis Indiana		closest thing to a side by side this year was 30 bushels difference. That was 2 farms next to each other planted 2 days apart to the same hybrid.
the field yielding 30 bushel less had 7 less # of N on it. That's just how the blends worked out in the end.

This was a poor year to put as much faith into late season nitrogen here. Too much rain left a lot of N leached so come harvest I looked pretty smart. I don't expect those extreme results year in year out.

I don't care if you use a sprayer with drops, urea with a plane, a front mount nitro bar, or a pivot with 28/32. I honestly feel late applied nutrients, especially N is the next step in increasing corn yields on much of the corn belt.
