Don't know about beans but here we grow canola and take it to ADM processor. The Canadian dollar has fallen so hard that we are at new cash lows right now on canola even though basis went from -650 to -250. Has really hurt canola price. Maybe guys from south can comment if they have seen same thing with cash canola down there?
Our bean basis got as good as -90. Historically -75-80 This year we spent most of the time for new crop at -95-105. Spent a short time in November at -90. Typically how it goes from here basis should blow out to -125-135 as we move toward spring. Happens every year here at my locale.

All these beans goto China thru pnw here. All of them. Just haven't had the same demand.

Not sure if that answers or helps. Just sharing what I feel strong dollar is doing here.
