Near the end of this article mention is made of giving money to "Main Street" instead of Wall Street, as a last resort. Hasn't that been tried? I thought there was a one time deal for low end tax payers (such as myself) not so long after 2008. Also thinking of the Earned Income Tax Credit. Cash for Clunkers?
